Roland Berger completes acquisition of Amane Advisors

Roland Berger expressed that acquiring Amane Advisors will enhance its capabilities and offerings in water consulting, positioning them as a key player in the field.

The two firms, known for their strategic alignment and complementary services in water and waste management, will merge seamlessly. Amane Advisors will be fully integrated into Roland Berger’s specialized water consulting team.

Stefan Schaible, Global Managing Partner at Roland Berger, shared his excitement about welcoming Amane Advisors’ team to the Roland Berger family.

He emphasized the expertise and industry experience of the new members, highlighting the potential for developing tailored solutions for clients. This acquisition aligns with Roland Berger’s sustainability strategy and contributes to their revenue target of EUR 2 billion by 2028.

Geoff Gage, Senior Partner at Roland Berger and former Managing Partner at Amane Advisors, emphasized the increasing demand for strategic water advice due to climate change impacts on the water cycle.

He sees Roland Berger as the ideal platform to support various businesses, utilities, and municipalities worldwide in addressing water-related challenges and opportunities. Amane Advisors aims to leverage its expertise to benefit Roland Berger’s global clientele.

Based in Oxford, UK, Amane Advisors operates with around 50 professionals across seven offices globally, leading numerous strategic projects in water, waste, and energy recovery annually.

The company serves blue-chip firms, public entities, and investors in Europe, North America, and the Middle East, with a strong presence in these regions. While historically Europe has been their primary market, Amane Advisors has witnessed significant growth in North America in recent years.
