Wilo UK appoints new sales director.

Wilo UK appoints Jason Cox, previously the service director, as the new sales director for building services.

Cox’s primary focus will involve expanding Wilo’s current strategy to assist the building services sector in achieving sustainability goals by providing advisory services covering the entire life cycle of pumps and pumping systems.

Under Cox’s leadership, the company will enhance its advisory services for specifiers, consultants, and contractors to ensure that appropriate pumps and systems are implemented during the design and specification phase of new construction projects, promoting energy efficiency and system reliability from the start.

Wilo will maintain its provision of service and maintenance agreements to building owners to optimize pump performance, extend their operational life, and maximize return on investment.

As pumps near the end of their life cycle, Wilo will adopt a consultative approach to replacing inefficient equipment by conducting energy audits to quantify potential energy, carbon, and cost savings achievable through upgrading outdated pumps.

With over three years at Wilo UK and more than two decades in the building, heating, and renewable energy sectors, Cox brings a wealth of experience to his new position.

“Having entered the industry as an apprentice heating engineer, the experience I have gained throughout the last two decades has been invaluable and I plan to use it to full effect in my new role,” said Cox. “I’m particularly eager to use my background in overseeing maintenance contracts and the servicing of pumps. We know the challenges the industry is facing, which is why we’re going to tailor our solutions through the variety of services and products we offer to support the marketplace.”

Lee Tebbatt, the managing director at Wilo UK, expressed satisfaction with Cox’s appointment as sales director, noting his extensive experience and expertise as crucial in advancing the company’s vision of becoming the preferred choice for sustainable pumping solutions in the building services industry for both new and existing projects.
