Adler and Allan acquires specialist quality and engineering company QEM Solutions.

Adler and Allan, a business specializing in environmental risk reduction services, has acquired QEM Solutions, a company offering quality and engineering management solutions.

For over two decades, QEM has provided professional services, technical consultancy, inspections, surveys, management and training, as well as software for safe work systems to the heavily regulated gas and water industries.

Renowned for its expertise in process management and engineering, QEM aids in design process management, procurement, risk management, and conducts third-party inspections and audits.

Rob Graham, CEO of QEM, expressed enthusiasm about joining the Adler and Allan Group, citing the opportunity to extend their quality and engineering management solutions to a wider range of companies through Adler and Allan’s established presence in the utilities and environmental markets.

Henrik Pedersen, Chief Executive Officer, Adler and Allan, said: “We help organisations manage, improve, maintain, and upgrade their infrastructure so that they can solve their biggest environmental challenges such as managing energy transition and mitigating the effects of climate change. This critical acquisition supports our mission and our ambitious growth plans, by bolstering our specialist quality and engineering management capability and enhancing our range of services to the gas and water sectors, making us partner of choice for utilities companies as they tackle the challenges of energy diversification and distribution through RIIO3 and RIIO4.”

This marks Adler and Allan’s fifth acquisition in the utilities sector and eighth overall in the past three years.
