Morrison Water Services extends framework agreements with Yorkshire Water.

Morrison Water Services, a division of M Group Services’ Water Division, has successfully secured extensions on two Capital Delivery Frameworks.

Under this new agreement, Morrison Water Services will maintain its work within the Yorkshire Water region, delivering customer-focused and intricate infrastructure projects until April 2028.

Morrison Water Services has already implemented innovative solutions in various parts of the region and will continue to do so, aiming to reduce costs, time, and carbon footprint through the use of Spray Lining.

As the sole contractor in the UK with the necessary accreditation to provide in-situ spray lining for rehabilitating water pipes, Morrison Water Services is contributing to extending the health of infrastructure assets by up to 50 years.

Within its ongoing contracts for Yorkshire Water, Morrison Water Services is currently engaged in activities in Whitby to minimize storm overflow discharges and introduce a new surface water system to mitigate discharges resulting from heavy rainfall.

Lee Wood, Area Director at Morrison Water Services, commented:

“This agreement signifies the continuation of our longstanding partnership with Yorkshire Water and reaffirms our commitment to delivering Capital Delivery projects for the region, enhancing their network.”

Lee Boshell, Capital Programme Delivery Manager at Yorkshire Water, added:

“We are excited to announce the further extension of our partnership with Morrison Water Services. With increased investment plans, we are pleased to have them on board to support us in these endeavors.”

Environmental protection is an essential aspect of contract delivery, and as part of its dedication to delivering social value, Morrison Water Services will persist in collaborating with local stakeholders on environmental initiatives throughout both frameworks.
