JinkoSolar Recognized as a Tier 1 Energy Storage Provider by Bloomberg New Energy Finance
JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd., a leading global solar module manufacturer, has been acknowledged by Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF) as a Tier 1 energy storage provider.
This recognition is attributed to the company’s exceptional products and expertise in the field of energy storage.
The BNEF tiering system categorizes battery cell manufacturers and system integrators based on the quantity of projects over 1 megawatt or 1 megawatt-hour for which a supplier has supplied batteries and/or energy storage systems in the previous two years.
The bankability of projects is an important factor in BNEF’s assessment, as each project should be funded by a third party for at least 50% of its total cost.JinkoSolar offers a range of energy storage solutions for various applications, including utility projects, commercial and industrial use, and residential energy storage systems.
The newly launched SunTera G2 large-scale energy storage system, with a capacity of 5 MWh, features an upgraded high-capacity LFP battery that increases energy density by 46% and extends the cycle life to over 10,000 times, thereby prolonging the product’s lifespan.
The system also effectively controls noise levels to 75 dB, minimizing its impact on the surrounding environment. Additionally, JinkoSolar has improved system efficiency, product safety, and reliability through innovative designs such as liquid cooling technology and multi-level fire protection.
