Fluence appoints Nikolaus Oldendorff as Non-Executive Director.

Fluence Corporation has appointed Nikolaus Oldendorff as a Non-Executive Director of the Board with immediate effect.

Mr. Oldendorff is presently the Managing Director of Reederei Nord GmbH (“Nord”), an international shipping company that operates a fleet of around 35 vessels for transporting crude and petroleum products, dry bulk commodities, and containers.

Nord has a workforce of over 1,100 employees and has invested more than US $1.2 billion in new shipping assets over the past 8 years.

Apart from his executive role at Nord, Mr. Oldendorff is currently a board member of Maritime & Merchant Bank ASA, a specialized Norwegian bank established in 2017.

M&MB provides first-priority mortgages to shipping companies and offshore services and has securitized over US $1 billion in loans to the shipping sector since its establishment.

Mr. Oldendorff also represents Germany on the Baltic and International Maritime Council, where he actively influences international maritime policies and advocates for the interests of shipowners worldwide.
