Vestas secures a 37 MW project in Poland

Vestas has secured a solid order from Energa Green Development, a subsidiary of the ORLEN Group, for the Szybowice project in Opolskie, Poland. The order includes 17 V110-2.0 MW wind turbines in 2.2 MW power mode, covering supply, delivery, and commissioning.

After installation, Vestas will maintain the turbines through a 25-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement to ensure optimal performance of the assets.

“We are delighted to collaborate with Energa Green Development, a part of the ORLEN Group, on the Szybowice project,” states Nils de Baar, President of Vestas Northern & Central Europe.

“Our partnership extends from the previous year’s announcement of the Baltic Power Offshore wind farm project with ORLEN, marking our first V236-15.0MW turbine order. It’s exciting to see this partnership continue for an onshore project.”

The delivery of turbines is scheduled to commence in the third quarter of 2025, with commissioning set for completion in the fourth quarter of the same year.
