Veolia finalizes the sale of its subsidiary SADE-CGTH to NGE

Veolia reveals the completion of NGE’s acquisition, an autonomous public works entity, of SADE-CGTH, its wholly-owned branch focusing on water and infrastructure network construction and restoration. The transaction signifies an enterprise value of 260 million euros.

Estelle Brachlianoff, Veolia’s CEO stated: “We are pleased with the successful conclusion of this sale, following consultations with employee representatives and obtaining required regulatory approvals. We are confident in the future prospects under NGE’s ownership, a well-established player in the public works industry. This divestiture is part of our routine asset portfolio evaluation, as construction activities are no longer within our strategic focus,”

SADE primarily engages in civil engineering and network construction, with a focus on the water sector, generating approximately €1.1 billion in revenue in 2022 and employing about 6,900 individuals.
