Tetra Tech Wins $72.5 Million Contract to Mobilise Financing for Climate-Resilient Water and Sanitation Services

Tetra Tech, a leading provider of high-end consulting and engineering services, announced that the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has awarded the company a single-award, five-year contract worth $72.5 million to increase access to financing for climate-resilient water and sanitation services.

Hundreds of millions of people worldwide do not have access to safe drinking water, and more than a billion do not have access to basic sanitation facilities.

Tetra Tech will collaborate with government and financial institutions, development partners, service providers and local stakeholders to raise the money needed to expand WASH services through the USAID Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Finance 2 (WASH-FIN 2) project.

It’s water resources and infrastructure expertise will help water service providers improve their climate resilience and business models through data-driven decision-making.

“Tetra Tech has over 40 years of experience assisting USAID in expanding access to water and sanitation in developing nations,” stated Dan Batrack, Chairman and CEO of Tetra Tech.

“We are excited to use our Leading with Science® strategy to generate funding for climate-resilient WASH services around the world.”
