A distributor of cutting-edge solutions for the water utility sector, AV Water Technology (AVWT) offers cutting-edge and intelligent technologies. The company will provide the Orbis SmartCap to customers in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, and Arkansas in the Southern and Central US.
The SmartCap is an intelligent fire hydrant and pipe monitoring system that offers real-time data from a multi-sensor to enable remote leak detection. A Southeastern water provider used the tool to detect a 15-month-old leak in the early 2022. Within three days of deployment, the SmartCap located the leak, saving a significant amount of water and money.
