Mott Corporation has acquired Digested Organics of Michigan
Mott Corporation recently announced the acquisition of Digested Organics, a Michigan-based engineering firm that manufactures advanced filtration solutions to assist customers in lowering wastewater disposal costs, reclaiming clean water for reuse, and producing valuable co-products.
Digested Organics specializes in wastewater reclamation solutions. Digested Organics technologies are critical to addressing global issues such as water scarcity and groundwater pollution, as well as the development of sustainable, circular agriculture.
Digested Organics’ technology, through customized filtration solutions, can dramatically reduce the costs for farmers of disposing of millions of gallons of wastewater by converting them into clean water and products such as fertilizer and animal bedding. Digested Organics also offers solutions for converting organic waste into renewable energy sources.
Mott offers filtration and flow control solutions to cutting-edge industries such as semiconductors, clean energy, aerospace, healthcare, and, most recently, water and agriculture. Mott’s engineered solutions contribute to the development and advancement of our technological world, with applications ranging from satellites and cell phones to implantable medical devices and green hydrogen facilities.
Mott expands its clean energy portfolio, expands its skid manufacturing and electrical engineering capabilities, and welcomes a new business unit focused on water and wastewater with this acquisition.
“Digested Organics is breaking down barriers in the water and clean energy spaces, allowing agriculture and food and beverage operators across the country to be more productive and profitable,” said Boris Levin, CEO of Mott.
“Digested Organics shares Mott’s innovative culture and deep concern for its employees and customers, as well as Mott’s core competencies in design, engineering, and project management.” We’re thrilled to welcome the Digested Organics team to the Mott family. Employees will benefit from this expansion as employee-owners in our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).”
Mott products aid in the production of green hydrogen, the manufacture of semiconductors, and the protection of satellites in space. With the merger of our two companies, they’re now bringing that same precision engineering to the wastewater and water reuse markets’, said Bobby Levine, CEO of Digested Organics, who will continue to lead the company.
“We are confident that, under Mott’s leadership, our customers will continue to see the highest quality, innovative solutions they’ve come to expect from Digested Organics, and that our employees will thrive in a creative, collaborative work environment.”
