This collaboration aims to develop advanced water projects throughout the Kingdom, aspiring to establish a national leader in the water sector. The agreement was formalized at the French Residence in Jeddah, under the auspices of the Consul General of France, Mohammed Nehad, highlighting the robust and expanding partnership between Saudi Arabia and France.
This agreement emphasizes the strategic importance of French companies in supporting Vision 2030’s mega-projects, offering their expertise and innovative solutions to essential sectors such as water, energy, and infrastructure. French firms have consistently been reliable partners in Saudi Arabia’s transformational journey, collaborating with local organizations to realize the ambitious projects that will shape the Kingdom’s future.
The initiative will concentrate on desalination and sewage treatment facilities, encompassing project development, engineering, procurement, construction, and long-term operations and maintenance. By merging Nesma & Partners’ execution strengths with Saur’s cutting-edge digital water solutions, the partnership aims to provide integrated services that enhance Saudi Arabia’s water systems, optimize resource management, and promote the Kingdom’s sustainability goals.

The signing ceremony was attended by senior executives from both companies, including Samer Abdul Samad, President & CEO of Nesma & Partners; Patrick Blethon, Executive Chairman of Saur Group; and Faisal AlTurki, Board Member of Nesma & Partners, alongside Mohammed Nehad, Consul General of France in Jeddah.
