Grundfos achieves €4.6bn in record sales and cuts water usage by 7% in 2023.

Grundfos, a leading global pump manufacturer, achieved a milestone with sales reaching €4.6bn, reflecting a 4.2% growth in line with its objectives. The company’s Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) saw significant growth, reaching a record €578m compared to €529m in the previous year. This EBIT figure corresponds to a noteworthy 12.5% profit margin.

Poul Due Jensen, group president and CEO of Grundfos said: “Despite a worldwide market slowdown, where we experienced lower demand in the second half of 2023, we managed to deliver full-year growth in key markets like Germany and UK as well as double-digit growth in the US,” 

In 2023, Grundfos successfully decreased its annual CO2 emissions by 9% and also cut its water usage by 7%. Notably, with 99% of the company’s emissions originating from operational products, initiatives focusing on product innovation and sales have been implemented to enhance energy and water efficiency for Grundfos clients.

CEO added: “Our achievements in sustainability in 2023, including the reduction of our emissions and water usage, and our contributions to assisting customers in conserving energy, water, and facilitating clean water access for millions in need, are a source of pride,”
