Gradiant, the water layer of the AI economy, announced $300 million in new contracts from semiconductor manufacturing customers since the beginning of 2026, signaling strong commercial momentum in a field where water security is increasingly essential for scaling up output quickly.
Among the awards, Gradiant secured additional agreements with major global semiconductor manufacturers across five fabrication sites in New York, Virginia, Idaho, and Utah. The scope covers ultrapure water (UPW), high-recovery wastewater treatment, local scrubber reclaim, and zero liquid discharge (ZLD) systems. Together, these projects are intended to lower freshwater use, expand water reuse, and support higher production in environments facing growing water constraints.
Rather than addressing only one part of the process, Gradiant will supply its full semiconductor water solutions at these locations—starting with ultrapure water and extending through high-recovery wastewater treatment, scrubber reclaim, treatment for difficult streams such as hydrofluoric-acid wastewater, and ultimately zero liquid discharge. Several deals are repeat commitments, including a second phase of a high-recovery wastewater facility at one of the world’s largest semiconductor fabs, and a scrubber reclaim design previously demonstrated for the same customer in Singapore, Taiwan, and the U.S., recovering more than 80% of feed volume.
