Francis McKeever has joined NEOM as Executive Director Water Supply, effective May 1st, 2023. NEOM is a territory being created from the ground up in northwest Saudi Arabia on the Red Sea.
Mr McKeever is a top executive in the water sector with 25 years of experience in Asia and the rest of the world. He was previously a Vice President at Gradiant in Asia and Australia, and before that, Vice President Asia Pacific of Pall Corporation’s Water Processing Division.
He has a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge, an MBA from Henley Management College (UK), and Executive Education from the University of California, Berkeley’s Haas School of Business.
In a LinkedIn article, Mr McKeever stated, “The Neom Desalination and Brine Refining projects are the most innovative and ambitious water projects in the world.” It is an honor to work with this group and see these projects through to completion.”
NEOM is one of the Public Investment Fund projects, and it is envisioned as an innovation hub and a model for sustainability. It is an important component of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 plan for economic diversification.
