DAH Solar introduces frameless double-glass TOPCon panels

DAH Solar, a Chinese solar module manufacturer, has introduced innovative TOPCon solar modules featuring a frameless front side for enhanced drainage and dust removal through rain.

The DHN-72X16/DG/FS panels are available in four variations, offering a nominal power range of 570 W to 585 W and a power conversion efficiency between 22.07% and 22.65%. They exhibit an open-circuit voltage spanning from 51.0 V to 51.6 V and a short-circuit current from 14.02 A to 14.20 A.

These double-glass panels measure 2,278 mm x 1,134 x 32 mm and weigh 32 kg, equipped with 2.0 mm heat-strengthened glass featuring anti-reflective coating. The modules are furnished with IP68 junction boxes and anodized aluminum alloy frames, designed to function at a system voltage of 1,500 V within a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.

Their temperature coefficient stands at -0.30% per degree Celsius. The PV panels are accompanied by a 15-year product warranty and a 30-year power output assurance. Initial degradation is claimed to be 1% in the first year, while the end power output after 30 years is guaranteed to not fall below 87.4% of the nominal output power.

According to a company spokesperson  “The unique frameless design of the front side of the PV modules allows for both vertical and horizontal installation. It also prevents snow or sand accumulation, potentially leading to an annual increase in power generation between 6% and 15%.”

DAH Solar, headquartered in Hefei, Anhui province, China, currently runs a 5 GW solar panel manufacturing facility.
