H2O America Receives Regulatory Approval for Texas Subsidiary’s Acquisition of Quadvest

H2O America has announced that its regulated water and wastewater utility in Texas, The Texas Water Company, Inc. (“TWC”), along with its affiliate Texas Water Operation Services, LLC (“TWOS”), and Quadvest, a regulated investor-owned utility serving the Houston metropolitan area, have obtained the necessary state and federal regulatory approvals to finalize their agreements. Under these agreements, TWC and TWOS will acquire all assets owned by Quadvest, with the transactions anticipated to close on October 1, 2026.

This merger will significantly enhance H2O America’s footprint in Texas and further its strategy to diversify and strengthen its regulated utility operations across various U.S. markets, particularly in the rapidly growing Houston area. By integrating Quadvest’s water and wastewater services into TWC’s existing operations, the company will achieve greater scale, enabling continued investment in infrastructure, operational excellence, and superior customer service.

“We are delighted to have secured the regulatory approvals needed to proceed with this acquisition and appreciate everyone who contributed to this achievement,” stated Andrew F. Walters, CEO of H2O America. “Under the leadership of President Aundrea Williams, TWC has established a robust foundation, and we are enthusiastic about the benefits that Quadvest and its team will bring to all our stakeholders. The collaboration between TWC and Quadvest will leverage local expertise and create a more formidable platform for H2O America’s ongoing growth in Texas.”
