JinkoSolar Unveils First Neo Green Panels Produced With Renewable Energy
JinkoSolar has introduced the release of its initial ‘Neo Green’ modules manufactured using renewable energy.
The N-type TOPCon Tiger Neo panels are manufactured at facilities certified as ‘zero carbon’ by TÜV Rheinland.
Jinko is now the pioneer in the industry with facilities categorized as zero carbon for ingot manufacturing, wafer cutting, and cell and module manufacturing.
Years of research and development, combined with the company’s vertically integrated supply chain’s adoption of an environmentally conscious approach
which includes the use of solar, hydro, and wind-generated electricity in its wafer, cell, and module factories in Leshan, Chuxiong, and Shangrao—have resulted in Neo Green’s initial 5GW capacity.
Along with its goal of using only renewable energy for manufacture and production, Jinko is extending its usage of recyclable materials and increasing its use of electric trucks and LNG-powered ships as part of its larger environmental efforts.
VP Dany Qian commented: “We are extremely proud to be able to release our first Neo Green modules, representing tangible evidence of our commitment to sustainability.
Our biggest impact on the environment will always come from providing customers with sustainable products and solutions which reflect the shared values of our customers, partners and investors.”
