Xylem (NYSE: XYL), a global leader in water technology, has introduced the Jabsco Sensor-Max II, a variable speed pump designed to enhance efficiency in freshwater systems for boats and RVs. This pump can manage flow rates up to 5 gallons per minute (GPM), providing consistent water pressure on demand without requiring an accumulator tank.
The pump features a variable speed drive that adjusts motor speed based on flow requirements. An integrated pressure transducer converts pressure into an electrical signal, while a built-in sensor controller fine-tunes motor speed for optimal flow rates. This adaptability reduces energy consumption, enhancing efficiency and offering boat and RV owners a home-like experience.
Installation is straightforward as the pump eliminates the need for an additional accumulator tank. It includes snap port fittings, supports up to five outlets simultaneously, and can run dry without damage. With this launch, the Jabsco Sensor-Max II becomes the most advanced motor-driven diaphragm pump in Xylem’s extensive range of boat and RV solutions.
“Xylem’s Jabsco Sensor-Max II sets a new benchmark for efficient freshwater pumping. The integrated pressure transducer and built-in programming ensure smooth and steady flow,” stated Young Baeg, Associate Product Manager at Xylem. “With controlled motor speed and consistent pressure, users won’t experience rapid cycling or water hammer, and the pump is more energy-efficient than traditional options, making it a sustainable choice.”
In a recent beta test survey, 83% of participants rated the pump five stars for quality, with all respondents likely to replace their current products with the Sensor-Max II. Additionally, every participant indicated they would highly recommend it to others. Key features highlighted during trials included consistent water pressure, high flow capacity, and the ability to supply multiple outlets while conserving energy.
“The Jabsco Sensor-Max II has revolutionized how I manage my freshwater supply,” remarked Justin, a New Mexico-based Jabsco customer. “It provides a steady flow without pulsation, allowing for a balanced mix of hot and cold water, which enhances comfort and convenience. Running multiple outlets simultaneously has been a significant advantage.”
The Jabsco Sensor-Max II variable speed freshwater pump is now available for purchase in the United States and Canada. For more information, please visit: www.xylem.com/jabsco
