Vestas in line to supply 1GW-plus offshore wind farm in northern Europe

Vestas, the Danish wind turbine manufacturer, has secured a conditional agreement to supply turbines for an unspecified large-scale offshore wind project in Europe. The project’s total capacity exceeds 1GW, surpassing Vestas’ typical disclosure threshold.

The project is planned to be developed in two construction phases. Vestas stated that it will publicly disclose further details about the contract once the agreement is finalized into firm and unconditional orders, in line with the company’s disclosure policy. However, Vestas did not reveal the specific turbine model that is part of this agreement.
