
Veolia has announced the appointment of Nadège Petit as the new CEO of the North America Zone, effective December 1, 2025. In this capacity, she will also join the Group’s executive committee.
This strategic move aligns with the GreenUp program and supports Veolia’s ambitions for growth in the United States, a key area for the Group. It enhances the company’s capacity to provide innovative and profitable solutions while promoting organic growth and seizing new opportunities in one of its most vibrant markets.
Nadège Petit brings a wealth of international experience in business development, innovation, and profitable growth, demonstrating a proven track record in expanding businesses and achieving results. Her leadership is expected to be instrumental in advancing Veolia’s operations and creating long-term value for communities, clients, and shareholders.
In the U.S., Veolia stands as the largest private operator and technology provider in the water sector, as well as a leader in hazardous waste and pollution treatment. The company has solidified its position in recent years due to rising demand and organic growth, along with the successful integration of Suez. Currently, Veolia aims to accelerate its expansion within the U.S. market.

Biography of Nadège Petit
Nadège Petit is a distinguished international executive with over 20 years of experience in energy, new technologies, and business development.
Throughout her career at Schneider Electric, she held various leadership roles, managing significant business development, sales, marketing, and R&D initiatives across Europe, Hong Kong, and the United States. Most recently, from 2021 to 2025, she served as Chief Innovation Officer and was a member of the Global Executive Committee, where she focused on developing future businesses, technologies, and business models through open innovation, external partnerships, business incubators, investments, and joint ventures. Prior to this, she was the Executive Vice President of the Power Products division, overseeing the global management of the core low-voltage power business.
Nadège Petit is also a member of the Supervisory Board of E.ON SE and serves on its Innovation and Sustainability Committee.
She studied at the University of Technology of Compiègne in France and holds a Master’s degree in mechanical engineering. In 2014, she completed an Executive MBA at Kingston University in London.
