Sungrow, a global leader in PV inverter and energy storage solutions, unveiled its next-generation residential energy storage system (ESS) at the 2025 Southeast Asia Distribution Summit. Central to this launch is the upgraded MG Series inverter lineup, which offers power outputs ranging from 5 kW to 10 kW to address the increasing regional demand for energy independence in homes.
The new MG Series boasts industry-leading features, including:
– Full-power operation at high temperatures* (up to 45 °C)
– Active PID recovery for improved system longevity
– Ultra-fast 4ms backup power switching* for seamless energy supply during outages
These advancements ensure dependable performance in the challenging climates and variable grid conditions of Southeast Asia.
The currently available models, MG5/6RL, are compatible with over 50 third-party energy storage batteries. The higher-capacity MG8/10RL models, along with the dedicated MGL060 battery, are expected to launch in Q4 2025.
