Seven scoop £850m Yorkshire Water complex projects deal.

Yorkshire Water has selected seven contract partners for its new complex non-infrastructure works framework, valued at £850 million, which will span the 2025 to 2030 delivery period (AMP8).

These partners have been chosen to support the utility’s heightened investment in non-infrastructure clean and wastewater assets over the upcoming five years.

The selected partners include Barhale, Galliford Try, Glanua, Kier, Mott MacDonald Bentley, Tilbury Douglas, and Ward & Burke.

These partners will deliver civil engineering, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control, automation, and building expertise to assist the utility in enhancing its clean water and wastewater networks throughout Yorkshire.

During the AMP8 period, the utility plans to implement its largest environmental investment program, with Ofwat, the water industry regulator, recently approving a total investment of £8.3 billion across the business.

Rachael Fox, head of programme delivery at Yorkshire Water, stated: “We are eager to collaborate with our selected partners as we initiate an ambitious investment program starting in 2025. We face significant challenges—not only in meeting new regulatory standards but also in fulfilling customer expectations—and effective collaboration will be essential for our success.”
