LONGi Powers Jordan’s Largest Hi-MO X10 Rooftop Solar Installation at Izdehar Carton Factory

LONGi has supplied its latest HPBC 2.0-based Hi-MO X10 modules for a 1-megawatt photovoltaic (PV) plant at the Izdehar Carton Factory in Jordan. This installation represents one of the initial regional deployments of the company’s flagship distributed-generation solution. The Izdehar Carton Factory is now home to the largest single-site installation of LONGi’s Hi-MO X10 technology in Jordan. The project, executed by LONGi’s authorized distributor Magic Energy, features over 1,500 panels totaling 1 MW, covering an area of 10 donums (approximately 1 hectare) on the factory’s rooftop in Muqqar, Jordan.

The Hi-MO X10 modules, specifically designed for distributed applications, excel in four primary areas: efficiency, reliability, safety, and aesthetics.

– Maximum Generation: Each module, mass-produced at up to 670 W and achieving 24.8% efficiency, surpasses mainstream TOPCon equivalents of the same size by over 30 W, maximizing rooftop potential and enhancing returns for owners.

– Resilient Core: Constructed with Tai-Ray wafers, these modules feature improved resistivity distribution, enhanced gettering capability, and increased mechanical strength, reducing mismatch risks and ensuring long-term durability.

– Hot-Spot-Free Safety: A patented cell-level bypass architecture minimizes power loss under partial shading and lowers local hotspot temperatures by more than 28%, thereby eliminating hot-spot risks and protecting rooftop operations.

– Minimalist Design: Adopting a “less-is-more” approach, the modules have a seamless, full-black aesthetic with no busbars on the back, combining high efficiency with architectural sophistication.

LONGi and Magic Energy plan to implement the same “solar-plus-manufacturing” model across various sectors in Jordan, including food, textiles, and chemicals, transforming every rooftop into a significant contributor to the Middle East’s zero-carbon initiative.
