Kurita acquires Arcade Engineering Group

Kurita Group strengthens its water treatment business by creating a specialized platform focused on providing total solutions for the microelectronics & semiconductor industry in Europe.

Kurita announced the acquisition of 100% of the outstanding capital stock of Arcade Engineering GmbH (Head Office:

Germany), Arcade Engineering AG (Head Office: Switzerland), Arcade Industrie SAS (Head Office: France), and Arcade Engineering (Asia) Pte Ltd (Head Office: Singapore) from Arcade Holding SAS.

Arcade Engineering Group (“AEG”), founded in 1992 in Switzerland and later expanded in France (1999), Germany (2005), and Singapore (2007), is a forward-thinking engineering firm specializing in the design and installation of water treatment and processing plants for the semiconductor industry, as well as the complete construction of industrial buildings, including auditing, consulting, maintenance, and after-sales services.

AEG is also involved in the design and installation of electric switchboards and automation projects.Kurita Group strengthens its water treatment business in Europe by establishing a specialist platform focused on offering entire solutions for the microelectronics and semiconductor industries, while also strengthening its leadership position in Asia in this market area.

Kurita Europe and Singapore will combine Kurita Water Industries’ highly specialized technology portfolio and deep process know-how with AEG’s technical capabilities to achieve greater intimacy with semiconductor clients.

The newly developed semiconductor platform will offer entire solutions that create new value by enhancing plant and process efficiency while adopting unique chemical technologies and engineering solutions for water and energy savings.
