KETOS Partners with Siemens to Strengthen Water Management Globally with Robotics and AI-based Solution Offerings.

KETOS, an innovator in water intelligence, has teamed up with Siemens, a prominent technology firm, to enhance water quality solutions and improve management for water operators. This collaboration targets both industrial and municipal water sectors, aiming to deliver comprehensive water quality management strategies.

By combining their strengths, KETOS and Siemens provide integrated solutions that advance water management and sustainability. This partnership significantly contributes to Siemens’ water reuse efforts and aligns with the broader Siemens Xcelerator strategy.

Through the Siemens Water (SIWA) applications tailored for the water and wastewater sectors, operators can enhance energy efficiency, minimize water loss, reduce contamination, and improve predictive maintenance.

“On the industrial front, there’s a growing focus on water stewardship and adopting water-positive strategies, highlighting the connection between efficient water use and quality management for reuse and recycling,” stated Sebastian Guckelberger, Global Head of Portfolio & Business Development Water & Wastewater at Siemens. “Our collaboration with KETOS empowers water operators with integrated strategies for improved management and sustainability.”

KETOS is transforming the water sector with a goal to make water more accessible, affordable, safe, and sustainable. By automating traditional, manual, and expensive water testing processes, KETOS has created a vertically integrated solution that combines intelligent robotic hardware, bi-directional IoT connectivity, a robust AI-driven interactive software platform, and seamless installation services. Their real-time testing capabilities for water efficiency—such as leak detection and usage tracking—and water quality—focusing on safety and composition—help optimize availability while ensuring safety and sustainability.

“Water usage and quality are interconnected, providing a holistic view of our most vital resource, essential for sustainable management. Partnering with Siemens, we will emphasize real-time actionable insights on water quality that integrate with their platform, offering users enhanced visibility, proactive risk mitigation, and optimized savings through cohesive data predictions,” said Meena Sankaran, CEO of KETOS.

“As our customers, particularly those focused on ESG reporting and carbon footprint reduction, demand comprehensive data, high-quality water metrics are becoming increasingly vital to complete the overall picture.”
