De Nora Water Technologies has launched Oxicore™, an advanced underwater chlorine dioxide generator within its Capital Controls® lineup. This innovative modular system will make its official appearance at the Global Water Expo in Saudi Arabia.
Oxicore™ achieves an impressive ClO₂ yield of up to 99% with precise dosing and on-demand production capabilities. Its skid-mounted design allows operators to easily increase capacity by adding additional units, simplifying installation and minimizing the need for spare parts.
Promoted as the safest underwater reactor in the industry, Oxicore™ eliminates the need for atmospheric tanks, features onboard leak detection and fail-safe shutdown mechanisms, and continuously dilutes the reaction to avoid gas accumulation—ensuring safe and convenient maintenance.
By utilizing hydrochloric acid and sodium chlorite in a submerged reactor, Oxicore™ produces chlorine dioxide on demand. It can directly inject ClO₂ into pressurized pipes or basins, making it suitable for various applications, including municipal drinking water, industrial process water, and scalable containerized disinfection solutions.
Chlorine dioxide is a potent and selective disinfectant that does not generate disinfection byproducts like THMs, meeting the increasing demand for safer and more sustainable water treatment solutions.
With over 45 years of expertise in chlorine dioxide and more than 400 installations worldwide, Oxicore™ signifies the latest advancement in the Capital Controls® range of water treatment technologies.
