SWPC has received the Private Sector bids for Jubail – Buraydah IWTP.

The Saudi Water Partnership Company (SWPC) has received proposals from private sector entities for the Jubail-Buraydah Independent Water Transmission Pipeline (IWTP) Project.

The following consortia have put forth their bids:

1. Aljomaih Energy & Water Company, Nesma Company, and Buhur for Investment Company.
2. Vision International Investment Company and TAQA.

The Buraydah Independent Water Transmission Pipeline is designed to cover 587 kilometers and will have a transmission capacity of 650,000 cubic meters per day. It is expected that commercial operations will commence in the first quarter of 2029.

The project will be developed by the selected developer or consortium on a Build, Own, Operate, and Transfer (BOOT) model, providing the full transmission capacity to SWPC through a Water Transmission Agreement (WTA) anticipated to last up to 35 years.
