Ecolab Acquires Barclay Water Management.

Ecolab has announced its acquisition of Barclay Water Management, a rapidly expanding provider of water safety and digital monitoring solutions primarily serving industrial and institutional clients in the northeastern United States.

Barclay Water Management offers unique water safety solutions, including the proprietary iChlor® Monochloramine System, designed to treat Legionella bacteria in drinking water systems. “This presents a thrilling opportunity to introduce Barclay’s innovative water safety solutions to customers throughout North America. By integrating these solutions with Ecolab’s complementary circular water initiatives and our real-time monitoring ECOLAB3D™ digital platform, we are establishing a new growth platform. Our extensive offerings will assist customers in enhancing water safety while also improving operational performance by reducing water and energy consumption.”

The transaction was finalized on November 1, 2024. Based in Newton, MA, Barclay Water Management reported approximately $50 million in sales for 2023. Further transaction details will remain undisclosed.
