Dorsch Global secures $213M engineering consultancy contract in Saudi.

Dorsch Global, a prominent international consulting and engineering firm, has secured a significant supervision engineering consultancy contract from the National Water Company (NWC) of Saudi Arabia.

This contract, exceeding SAR800 million ($213 million), is centered on wastewater management projects in Saudi Arabia.

Through this five-year agreement, Dorsch Global will supervise and manage the execution of water and wastewater initiatives across two specific geographic areas. The collaboration aims to leverage Dorsch’s extensive global expertise by offering specialized services such as design review, contract management, construction oversight, and testing and commissioning.

The contract divides the responsibilities into two regional clusters. In the southern region, Dorsch will manage the implementation of 154 projects totaling SAR490 million, while in the northwestern region, there are 99 projects valued at SAR336 million.

These initiatives align with Saudi Arabia’s National Water Strategy, led by NWC, which seeks to improve operational efficiency, enhance water distribution systems, ensure water security, and deliver sustainable water solutions across the Kingdom’s cities and governorates.

“Winning this five-year contract is a significant achievement for Dorsch, showcasing our ability to handle large-scale and intricate projects,” stated Ayman Haikal, CEO of Dorsch Global. “This milestone not only reflects Dorsch’s progress but also underscores our commitment to innovation, dedication, quality, and client-focused excellence.”

Dorsch has a proven history in Saudi Arabia’s water sector, having previously worked on expanding urban water supply systems for various municipalities, where it provided technical, financial, and administrative oversight to maintain compliance with rigorous technical standards.

Beyond its contributions to the water sector, Dorsch is engaged in other major projects throughout Saudi Arabia. These include overseeing the Intelligent Transportation System for Riyadh City and participating in the Urban Forestation Green Riyadh initiative. Such initiatives demonstrate the company’s role in enhancing the Kingdom’s infrastructure and fostering economic growth, as noted by Haikal.
