Costain, a company specializing in infrastructure solutions, has secured a spot on a new framework aimed at enhancing Thames Water’s infrastructure assets throughout the region.
Selected as one of ten suppliers, Costain will provide program management services and resources to assist in the execution of Thames Water’s Asset, Capital, and Engineering Professional Services framework, along with infrastructure enhancements over the next five years (2025-2030). Thames Water expects its capital program during AMP8 to be up to three times larger than its current program.
Costain will aid Thames Water by offering program management, benefits management, change control, and transition plans for operational and regulatory delivery initiatives.
Earlier this year, Costain received contracts to assist with Thames Water’s asset upgrades as part of the company’s Wastewater Asset Assurance Programme. Additionally, Costain has been performing clay compaction trials to guide the designs for a new 150Mm3 reservoir in Oxfordshire.
