The Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority (ZATCA) of Saudi Arabia, in collaboration with the National Centre for Privatisation & PPP (NCP), announced that 54 companies have shown interest in the Water and Sewage Treatment Plants project at Land Ports Public-Private Partnership (PPP).
The call for Expressions of Interest (EOI) was issued in June 2024, receiving a robust response from both local and international firms.
This initiative entails the construction and management of water and sewage treatment facilities, along with the development of related networks and assets at ten land ports across the Kingdom.
The project will be executed under a Design-Build-Finance-Operate-Maintain-Transfer (DBFOMT) contract lasting 15 years, which includes a two-year construction period.
